Bryn'sStory
I am the passionate owner + photographer of Northern Roots Photography. What started as hobby when I was a child, became something much more than I ever thought possible after college. I fell in love with the deep beauty of life that many people can easily overlook. I found myself passionate about meeting new people, capturing their stories and getting to know them on deeper levels. I officially gave my work a name of Northern Roots Photography back in 2018 and never looked back. My heart is in so many places I've traveled and in all of the marvels of the world I've yet to explore. I'm happiest when I'm in the mountains or in the wild forests - hence the name: Northern Roots.
I was born and raised in Wisconsin, but I have always loved to travel and drawn to the mountains thanks to a childhood of camping and road trips. I believe I was born with a restless soul and a compass in my hand, always searching for something new to see. I am a 30-years-young, live-in-the-moment adventurer, dog mom, wanna-be chef, and a lover of life. In October 2023, the love of my life proposed to me during a duck hunt, and in June 2024, I married him in Alaska! When ya know ya know! Ya know? PS. He's Northern Roots' new Videographer! We're now a husband-wife team!
If you haven't caught on by now, I am an outdoors type of gal. I love doing anything that leads to any sort of adventure: fishing, hunting, hiking, boating, ATVing, camping, traveling, photography (of course) - you name it, I'm up for it!

With a deep love for the outdoors and all things wild and rugged, Danny brings an adventurous spirit and steady hand to your wedding or elopement day. He’s not just there to film your story, he’s there to live it with you.
Whether you're hiking to a mountaintop ceremony, exchanging vows in your dream venue, or eloping in the heart of the woods, Danny is in his element. His background in the outdoors means he’s always prepared, always down for an unexpected journey, and always looking for those unscripted, emotional moments that make your film uniquely yours.
With a documentary-meets-cinematic style, Danny captures your day in a way that feels real, natural, and true to your story, so that years from now, you’ll not only see your day, but feel it all over again.

4. PLANNING
Over the next several weeks and months, I am always here for you throughout your planning journey and will continue to check in with you through the process. When you book with me, you'll have exclusive access my NRP guides for each session & wedding day to help you along.
2. MEETING
Here is where all of your questions will be answered! We'll start with a consultation call about your plans and get excited about your session or wedding day! This initial meeting is chatting all about you and your love story, your vision and ideas for your wedding or photography session. We can brainstorm together and go through the process in more detail.
5. WEDDING DAY/SESSION DAY!
It's time! After all of the planning, our meetings and chats, it's your time to shine! I will capture your session/wedding day with all the love and passion. You will receive sneak peeks shortly after your session or big day!
3. BOOKING
Let's make this official! If you're loving what you're seeing and hearing, it's time to sign + get you locked in for your date!
A signed contract and 25% down (non-refundable retainer) is required to officially book your wedding or portrait session.
6. PRODUCT DELIVERY
I'll be hard at work editing all of your beautiful moments.
Sneak peeks are delivered within 5 business days. Wedding days and elopements turn around time is 4-8 weeks. Regular sessions are 21-30 business days. All images are delivered to a private online gallery!
